Sad BABY

A few days ago, Bridger and i decided to visit the Wadley Clan in good ole Pleasant Grove. While we were there Bridger got very upset when i told him that we needed to go home. He didnt like that he cried and needed some comfort and Ian came to the rescue. We really want to thank Ian for that it really helped Bridger feel better! Bridger has already found that good friends are important. Thanks Wad Squad for teaching Ian at such an early age to comfort those that stand in need of comfort. Love ya

Bridger Kajun Byrd

Sorry it has taken so long to give an update, i hope to be a bit better in the future. On January 8Th at 3:30 Am my water broke, i woke Ryan and we rushed to the American Fork Hospital, Hoping to have our son soon we called both of our mothers to inform them of my status... I delivered Bridger Kajun Byrd at 9:05 PM. 9 LBS 4 OZ 20.5 Inches (And i was a week early) This is the first time i held my baby! Please note in these pictures i am very swollen! This next picture is our first family photo! It was very emotional for me. During delivery he got stuck and the Dr and nurses worked hard to get him out, so i didn't get to hold him long before they whisked him away. It was very difficult. I love this picture of his cute lil feet! Its amazing how tiny in comparison he is. When we were able to take him home this is him in the car seat for the first time. When we got home we had to put him on a light bed due to jaundice,he had to sleep on that bed for 3 nights i hated every minute i couldn't hold my new baby. So far i love being a mom. He is so darn cute. i find myself just staring at him while he sleeps. Thanks to everyone for the love and support we have been given. Were so excited to continue this journey of life with our new lil one. Love you all

Baby Shower Fun

It seems like November came and went so fast that i didn't realize until just now that i didn't put up a new post! Sorry about that!
This November i had 2 Baby Showers one in Pleasant Grove given by my family and one in Delta by my Husbands side of the family. Showers are so fun! It seems that once your opening up tiny outfits and little shoes that it really hits home, i couldn't help but think 'Holy Crap I'm having a baby!' Baby and i were quite spoiled with the gifts we were given here are a few items that we received: New Born Shoes from Sally and Aunt Lynette (one from each)
An Outfit from Alissa the hat is reversible: This Incredible Stroller and Car Seat Combo is from Janice: A Hoodie and Jeans to match from Shelly and Girls: Some bath items from Mom: There were several other things we were given, however it takes forever for the pictures to load on this computer so that ends the pictures. Both showers were so much fun! Thanks to all those who helped! Now were in the month of December and i can finally say next month I'm going to be a MOM! Its amazing the feelings that come with preparing to bring a little innocent life into this world, I get really emotional when i think about it. Anyway Thanks to all those who came to the showers and for the great gifts we received, I love them all! Merry Christmas i hope you all have a great one!

Well Were Back!

Its been a long time since we have given the public anything to read so lets have an update!
Ryan is now working for nestle which is terrific his hours are horrible and the pay is OK but the benefits are incredible so we really cannot afford him to quit. He has taken a break from all the counter top work and is working on a Book, he has a long way to go but his story and ideas are amazing. We will let you know when it is finally done.
I am pregnant still, i am really loving it, i enjoy feeling my baby move that connections is indescribable. At this point i am about 29 Weeks along finally in my 3rd trimester here is a picture of our little guy at 21 weeks It may be hard to tell what is what at the bottom left is the head, just above the head is his foot ( he is folded in half) there is a hand between his legs above him. We thought it was a very unique picture!
We are working on having some baby stuff ready here is our bassanette: I really like it, i had to look all over to find the perfect one for us, and i think i found it. We went to a lot of garage sales to find some furniture we found a changing table that was in bad condition for 5 dollars and Ryan said he would fix it up like new i wish i had a before picture, here is the after shot anyway. Go Ryan Any way we still have a lot to do. Until next time.

Byrd Life

Sorry it has taken me so long to write a new blog, i just have a hard time knowing what to write about. lets see, I'm in my 9Th week of pregnancy and i must say i don't care so much for the morning sickness however i have been lucky that it doesn't set in right when i get up in the morning, i start to feel sick at about 11 in the morning. Oh well it is all worth it! I am still working for a construction company it is OK, although i feel stressed at work i have to pay the bills. currently i am doing the work of 3 people which is really hard, with the economy so bad they just cannot afford to hire anyone. I feel quite fortunate that in all of the lay offs i haven't been included. I sure wish the economy would get better!!!
With the weather getting warmer Ryan has had a little bit more work, the problem is this Utah weather on day its 70 degrees and the next day its thunderstorms so it makes it hard for him to get a job done! In his time off he has been really great doing laundry and cleaning the house, i really appreciate the work he does around the house especially because by the time i get home i am so beat. So Yahoo Ryan!
I wish i had more to say, there just isn't much going on kinda the same thing each day, work, come home, feel sick, eat, and go to bed. Hope all is going well with all of you!

Finally!!!!

This last Friday was great! As many of you know we have been trying to get pregnant for just about a year and a half, well on friday i got my blood test results back and i am finally PREGNANT! When i got the news i couldnt help but just cry! It almost dosent feel real. Many people will say not to tell anyone until your out of your first trimester and we considered it but we are so excited we couldnt wait to call everyone and tell them. So we did. Also on friday we celebrated Ryan's 25th Birthday, he requested that i call his friends and invite them over to play Monopoly and Risk and that i would make Taco Soup and Tres Leche ( A 3 milk cake) We had about 18 people over and to his dissapointment no one wanted to play either game! Bummer indeed. But over all it was a great day. Since our big news i have had a difficult time getting my mind off of it as you can imagine, I want my tummy to grow and to have this baby already! Which is a horrible mentality becuase i still have 8 months or so I'm only like 5 Weeks here is a picture of what our baby looks like now. ( DUE TO THIS PICTURE BEING A LITTLE TO GRAPHIC IT HAS BEEN REMOVED) Sorry if this looks like too much infomation. But this is the only picture i could find that looks like anything. Its about the size of a sesame seed! The body is so amazing. Anyway i will keep you all updated as time goes by. Oh and i wanted to tell you when i told Ryan he was so sweet he couldnt believe it we hugged and he even got emotional it has been a hard road. It was so great to know he felt that way.
